Abilities Expo
Provided free makeup services to over 25 individuals with diverse disabilities at the Abilities Expo.
At The Makeup On Wheels Foundation, we believe in the power of beauty and self-expression for everyone, regardless of ability. That's why our founder, makeup artist, and SFX artist Stephanie Debes, along with our volunteers, were thrilled to offer free makeup services to over 25 individuals with diverse disabilities at the Abilities Expo. This three-day expo serves as a platform to showcase various services, products, and organizations tailored specifically for the disabled community.
Stephanie Debes and our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that each person who visited our booth received personalized attention and care. From subtle enhancements to bold transformations, our services were tailored to meet the unique preferences and needs of each individual. For many of our guests, this experience went beyond just makeup—it was an opportunity to feel seen, valued, and beautiful in a world that sometimes overlooks their unique abilities.
As we participated in the Abilities Expo, we were inspired by the resilience and spirit of the individuals we had the privilege to serve. By providing free makeup services, we aimed not only to enhance their outer beauty but also to uplift their inner confidence and self-esteem. Through our participation in events like the Abilities Expo, we continue to reaffirm our commitment to promoting inclusivity, empowerment, and celebration of diversity within the beauty industry and beyond.
